Baptism is a public display of what Jesus has done in your life. By being baptized, you are letting everyone know that you have repented of your sins, placed faith in Jesus as the One who died, rose again, and is God. You are saying that you have surrendered your life to Jesus as your God, and you are going to follow Him.
