Hands and Feet Collection

This November, our Impact students and Community Groups partnered with the Prince William Area Free Clinic to help our neighbors in need. We acted as the Hands and Feet of Jesus by collecting gloves and socks for men, women, and children served by the Clinic. The Prince William Area Free Clinic provides quality, health care services to Prince William County, Manassas City and Manassas Park’s homeless, indigent, and uninsured “working poor” populations. This was a great outreach opportunity for us to bless our community by providing basic necessities for warmth and health.

We are proud to share that together our Community Groups and Impact Students collected 962 pairs of gloves and socks!

When presented with the donations collected, Caitlin Denney, executive director at the Prince William Area Free Clinic shared the following:

What Image Church did today with these 900+ socks and gloves will help protect our population that is most vulnerable - those folks that are in the woods, those folks that are still looking for work, that are walking up and down, that don’t have transportation or can't afford the bus. Because of this, these folks will still have fully functioning feet and hands and be able to go out and do work.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this outreach possible!
